Description

As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implement HR strategies and initiatives in line with the overall business strategy.

You will also play a critical role in managing and optimising the full employee lifecycle for the manufacturing division. This role will oversee recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, compliance, and the overall well-being of the workforce.

Implement and manage employee recognition programs to enhance morale and retention.
Develop and implement strategies for improving employee performance, engagement, and productivity.
Support leadership development initiatives to cultivate a strong leadership pipeline.
Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to workplace safety, labor laws, and company policies..
Advocate for employee well-being, including mental health support, work-life balance initiatives, and wellness programs.
Collaborate with leadership to design and manage compensation and benefits programs.
Ensure competitive salary structures and benefits offerings in line with industry standards.
Oversee payroll processes and resolve any payroll-related issues.
Analyse HR data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare regular HR reports for senior leadership, providing insights into employee turnover, retention, satisfaction, and other key metrics.

Profile

A successful HR Manager will have:

Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
Proven ability to manage recruitment, employee relations, and performance management processes in a fast-paced, unionised and operationally focused environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism.
Proficiency in HR software (e.g., HRIS, payroll systems) and MS Office Suite.
Strong leadership abilities, with the ability to influence and support teams across various departments.
High level of emotional intelligence, able to navigate complex employee situations and provide practical solutions.
Strong business acumen and understanding of how HR practices impact the manufacturing and operational goals of the business.
A proactive, hands-on approach to driving improvements in HR processes and programs.

Job Offer

An attractive salary range of approximately 50,000- 55,000 depending on experience.
