We have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a fantastic engineering team specialising in components for the Aerospace industry. They have some fantastic clients which offer long term relationships which require constant attention across their processes to ensure efficiency and productivity.

This position is perfect for an experienced and detail-oriented manufacturing engineer with a background in advanced manufacturing techniques. Candidates should possess strong project management skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and the capacity to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and assess technical requirements from 3D models, 2D engineering drawings, and specifications.
  • Define production solutions, including the conceptual and detailed design of capital equipment.
  • Evaluate the safety and environmental impact of new equipment and processes.
  • Develop methods and processes to optimise recurring manufacturing costs.
  • Deliver NC programs, fixtures, and process instructions within agreed timescales.
  • Provide production documentation and support the training of operations teams.
  • Research emerging technologies and conduct process development trials.
  • Review process data to drive continuous improvement aligned with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Work with subcontractors and partners to install and commission new processes.
