It involves delegating tasks while maintaining authority, encouraging innovation, and fostering a confident, proactive team.Responsibilities:
  • Lead strategy development, NPI, and support business sales and operations planning.
  • Drive continuous improvement using Lean methodology.
  • Build strategic internal and external partnerships to support business objectives.
  • Improve team performance, reduce setup times, and ensure staff development and succession planning.
  • Meet or exceed operational targets within budget (safety, quality, cost, etc.).
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the engineering team.
  • Collaborate with sister companies to deliver solutions and enhance capabilities.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hold an engineering qualification HND or higher
  • CAD/CAM expertise (Siemens NX preferable)
  • Experience working within a highly regulated industry medical, nuclear, aerospace – will consider automotive (not motorsports)
  • Managerial experience in engineering/manufacturing environments Experience working in a high-volume production environment.
  • Will have worked in a company where they have first time practise as there is no room for errors.
  • Will have led a team within a busy manufacturing environment
  • Happy to be hands on as and when needed.
