Description
- Performing regular routine maintenance checks on machinery
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults
- Collaborating with the Engineering & Manufacturing team to solve complex issues
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
- Optimising machinery performance and efficiency
- Handling breakdowns with a proactive approach
- Coordinating with suppliers for the procurement of necessary parts
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives within the Engineering & Manufacturing department
Profile
A successful Electrically Biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer should have:
- Time served apprenticeship
- BTEC - Electrical Engineering
- BS7671 Electrical Installations ( advantageous)
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, preferably in the FMCG industry
- Strong technical understanding of electrical systems and machinery
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
