Our client, an innovative mental health service provider, is seeking a passionate and dedicated CAMHS Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join their team in Accrington. Our client is a new and exciting service offering high-quality specialist mental health services for young people aged 8-18 years. With two bespoke 10-bedded units, the company focuses on assessment, stabilisation, treatment, and intervention, using an attachment and trauma model to support looked-after children.

As a CAMHS Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you'll:

  • Assess a variety of acute and complex mental health issues
  • Plan and implement treatment collaboratively
  • Work with multi-agency teams and involve families in care
  • Manage challenging behaviours using de-escalation skills
  • Support young people through therapeutic interventions and community activities
  • Complete records and notes in accordance with policy
  • Safeguard young people and manage medication

The ideal CAMHS Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) will have:

  • At least 1 year of post-qualification experience
  • A valid NMC pin
  • Strong communication skills and resilience

  • A strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
