Join theteam as a Metal Fabricator specializing in aircraft engine components! We're looking for a skilled craftsperson who takes pride in precision work and can maintain the exacting standards required in aerospace manufacturing.

In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for fabricating, fitting, maintaining, and repairing critical aircraft engine components, working with high-performance materials to meet precise specifications. You'll collaborate with a talented team while contributing to the production of world-class aerospace products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform sheet metal fabrication work to strict aircraft industry standards
  • Interpret and work from engineering drawings to meet precise tolerances
  • Use specialized measuring equipment and inspection fixtures to ensure component conformity
  • Set up and operate fabricating machines for cutting, bending, and straightening sheet metal
  • Maintain machinery, jigs, and fixtures to ensure a clean, safe working environment
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across shop operations
  • Share knowledge and experience through coaching and mentoring new employees and apprentices
  • Support flexible working requirements across multiple departments when needed

What We're Looking For

  • Time-served tradesperson with professional qualifications in metal fabrication
  • Experience working to precise measurements and tight tolerances
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Flexible approach to working various shift patterns
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
  • Experience with high-temperature alloys (advantage)
  • TIG welding experience (advantage)
