Reed/ Lancashire teaching agency are seeking a Reception Teacher for a temporary position for the Summer 2025 term and is expected to last until the end of the academic year!

The role is for 5 mornings per week furthermore, those with HLTA qualification will be considered for this post.Day-to-day of the role:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons appropriate for Reception students.
  • Assess and record students' progress, preparing them for end-of-year expectations.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the educational environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • HLTA qualification
  • Experience teaching at the primary level.
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Ability to plan and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum.
