Role Overview:

As a Year 4 Teacher at Accrington Primary School, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging, and inclusive teaching to a diverse group of students. You will create a stimulating learning environment, plan and deliver lessons that cater to various learning styles, and assess and track student progress to ensure all children achieve their best.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and effective lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Create a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere that fosters student engagement and enthusiasm for learning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support the holistic development of each child.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a classroom effectively.
