Quality Inspector (Manufacturing)

Based Altham, Nr Burnley.

Negotiable Salary DOE + Excellent Benefits.

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Quality Inspector responsible for ensuring that products and services meet the highest quality standards and comply with relevant regulations. This role involves developing, implementing and maintaining quality systems, conducting inspections and analysing quality data.

The Role

  • Maintain the current quality standards as laid out by the Design and Development teams and the New Product Introduction process.
  • Investigate standards that are not met via PPR (Pre-Production Report), ensure that root cause is identified and corrected, and escalate any issues or problems.
  • Hands on role for checking and inspecting raw materials.
  • Inform suppliers where non-conformance has been identified, taking appropriate action to ensure root cause is identified and corrected.
  • Inform employees of Quality targets and supply details for performance measurement.
  • Report on Quality Analysis Data using KPI’s
  • Support Supplier Quality program with information from Data collected.

The Person

  • Previous experience within a quality based role.
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • IT skills including a working knowledge of all Microsoft packages.
  • Have knowledge of processes such as 5 Why’s
  • Excellent attention to detail and can interpret /read drawings.
  • Driving Licence Required (essential)
