Role Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Computer Science Teacher to deliver engaging and effective lessons. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Computer Science across various year groups and will have the opportunity to pick up additional lessons throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Computer Science curriculum and contribute to the wider school community.
- Take on additional teaching responsibilities as required, supporting other departments where necessary.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven experience teaching Computer Science at secondary school level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students in the field of Computer Science.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to take on additional teaching duties across the school day.
