Part-Time GCSE English Teacher - Temporary Contract
Location: Lancashire
Contract: Part-time, Temporary
Rate: 30 per hour
Eden Brown are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic GCSE English Teacher to join a leading Further Education College.
This is a part time temporary role for the following hours
* Mon 10:30am - 2:30pm = 4hrs
* Tues 9am - 12pm 3 hrs
* Thurs 9am - 4pm 7 hrs
The successful candidate will:
* Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with curriculum guidelines
* Support students in improving their English skills, with a focus on exam preparation
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Monitor and report on student progress
What We're Looking For:
A degree in English or related subject
Teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)
Experience teaching GCSE English is preferred
Strong communication and organisational skills
Knowledge of functional skills is also beneficial.
A Current DBS will also be needed for this role.
