Rotherwood Education are seeking a qualified and experienced RE Teacher for a full time, long term role; this is an exciting opportunity for any RE Teacher.

Highlights of this position:

This role will be long term

Teaching KS3 and KS4

Differentiating lessons for low ability students Tracking and assessing pupils

As the School are looking for an RE Teacher on a long term placement, there would be an expectancy that the incoming member of staff will take on the responsibility for planning and marking for their groups, along with the overall aim of raising attainment and encouraging pupil progress.

The ideal candidate will have:

Experience teaching KS3 and KS4

PGCE RE or equivalent

Be motivated, energetic and passionate about the development of young people

Have strong subject knowledge

Responsibilities as an RE Teacher will include:

Planning and delivery of outstanding lessons

Keep records of attainment

To show reliability and commitment to the work, recognising the need to be punctual and work within the agreed timescales
