An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream secondary school in Accrington as soon as possible.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated HLTA who is passionate about supporting students to achieve their full potential. The role will involve working with students on a whole class basis, ensuring they remain on task with pre-prepared materials, managing behaviour effectively, and maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
The ideal candidate will have:- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
- Experience working with young people in a secondary school setting
- Strong behaviour management skills to maintain a focused classroom
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive and approachable attitude
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
Working hours are 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
