- Daily Rate: £96.81 per day
- Location: Accrington, BB5
- Job Type: Temporary (Ongoing basis)
Reed/ Lancashire teaching agency are seeking a Sports Coach/Teaching for a temporary position after Easter 2025 and is expected to last until the end of the academic year!The role is required for 5 days per week from 08:30-15:30. The candidate is expected to provide learning support to pupils. This is a hybrid role where the candidate is expected to be an in class teaching assistant and to be the sports coach on some days.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of daily lessons.
- Provide support to individual students or small groups to help them understand the material and complete their tasks.
- Work under the guidance of the class teacher to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Help manage classroom resources and setup for activities.
- Supervise students during non-classroom times including lunch and recess as needed.
- Contribute to the monitoring and recording of student progress.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Experience in a similar role within a school setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with children.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
