Mental Health Support Worker

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for enthusiastic Mental Health support workers, to work in one of our partnerships SEMH setting within Accrington. The role is full time Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm working with several students on a small group basis with a teacher.

Interviews are to be held with the Education manager as soon as possible as the SEMH Setting would like person to start as soon as possible initially for 3 months with the view to be extended or go permanent. The SEMH setting caters for pupils from 12 - 18 years they require a support worker who has worked with Mental Health within Primary and Secondary aged children.

Pay £12.82 - £15.71 per day

As a Support Worker the ability to engage and build rapport using your understanding of Mental Health and support background is essential. As a person-centred Support Worker, you will be a dynamic, forward thinking, and pro-active team player, with passion and commitment to holistically supporting the vulnerable a pupil.

The SEMH setting is easily accessible with close links to the motorway such as the M65 and a large free car park. The school is close to public transport links with bus stop 5 minutes' walk from the school.
