Description
- Conducting routine maintenance and testing on commercial and industrial production equipment.
- Ensuring that machinery is in safe working order.
- Reading and understanding complex electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Maintaining spare parts inventories.
- Assisting with the installation of new equipment.
- Responding to requests for emergency repairs.
- Collaborating with other engineers and workers to fix faults.
- Implementing preventative maintenance measures.
Profile
A successful Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer should have:
- A solid educational background in mechanical and electrical engineering.
- A time served apprenticeship
- Ideally food manufacturing experience
- Proficiency in reading and understanding complex electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a hands-on approach.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- A dedication to maintaining safe working conditions and practices.
