Job Title: Teacher of Art
Location: Middlesbrough
Pay Scale: £175 - £240 per day (DOE)
Start date: ASAP
Teach engaging art lessons to students in Hartlepool, a role that involves working full-time hours as a Supply teacher.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and deliver art curriculum aligned with educational standards, fostering creativity and skill development in students.
• Establish a supportive learning environment that encourages diversity and inclusivity, while maintaining high standards of student work.
• Evaluate student artwork and provide constructive feedback, helping them grow and improve their artistic skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the overall art programme, contributing to a rich and engaging learning experience for students.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Art Education or a related field, ideally with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to inspire and motivate students.
• Strong knowledge of art history, techniques, and mediums, with the ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
• Proficiency in using art-related software and tools, as well as organisational and time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Art Education or a related field.
• Experience in organising art events and extracurricular activities, adding value to the school community.
