We are seeking an Office Manager to join a local school near Addlestone. This role is crucial for ensuring comprehensive and timely administrative support, working closely with the School Business Manager to support the aims and strategic direction of the school. The Office Manager will lead and manage the office administrative team to deliver effective and efficient administrative and clerical support within the school, alongside providing excellent and proactive front-line customer service to families and visitors.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the school office, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.
  • Lead and manage the office administrative team, ensuring high standards of work and adherence to school policies.
  • Work closely with the School Business Manager to implement the strategic direction of the school.
  • Provide proactive and excellent front-line customer service to families and visitors, ensuring a welcoming school environment.
  • Coordinate and manage school communications, including handling correspondence, phone calls, and emails.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage data entry tasks.
  • Organise and supervise administrative tasks related to admissions, staffing, timetabling, and finance.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures within the office environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar administrative role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and school management software.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
  • Experience in an educational setting is highly desirable.
