Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping and Printing Associate to join their friendly team. They are a busy shipping and printing shop and are looking for someone who will be responsible for handling customer service, processing shipments, and completing a variety of print and copying jobs to meet the needs of their customers. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a commitment to quality service.
Your main responsibilities will include: Customer Service: Greeting and assisting customers with their shipping, printing, and related service needs. You will provide advice on packaging, shipping options, and print formats based on customer requirements and handle cash and card transactions, ensuring accurate billing and invoicing.Shipping Services:Processing domestic and international shipments via various carriers (e.g., UPS, FedEx, Royal Mail). Packing and labelling items securely for shipping, ensuring compliance with carrier guidelines. You will track shipments and handle any queries or issues with deliveries.Printing Services:Operating printers, copiers, and binding equipment to produce high-quality print jobs, including flyers, business cards, banners, and more. Assisting customers with print design and layout, ensuring they receive the correct formats and finishing options. Maintaining print equipment and ensure it is stocked with paper, ink, and other supplies. Monitoring and replenishing shipping and printing supplies such as boxes, envelopes, packing tape, paper, and toner. Assisting in ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:Previous experience in shipping, printing, or a similar customer service role preferred.Familiarity with shipping software and equipment (e.g., label printers, tracking systems) is a plus.Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.Strong organisational and time management skills.Ability to lift and move heavy packages (up to 10+ kg).
