- A full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with flexible working hours between 6:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

- Oversee workshop operations to deliver components and assemblies on time and to specification.
- Programme, set, and operate manual machinery, with occasional CNC use.
- Lead and optimise orbital welding processes to achieve precise and reliable results.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability and process improvement.
- Plan and schedule machine maintenance, tooling, and material requirements.
- Drive improvements in quality control, inspection procedures, and the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Extensive experience with manual machining and a strong understanding of traditional machining techniques.
- Expertise in orbital welding, including setup, operation, and maintenance of orbital welding equipment.
- Familiarity with a variety of materials such as stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, and engineering polymers.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and deliver high-tolerance components with exceptional surface finishes.
- Knowledge of CAD software (SolidWorks or Fusion 360 preferred) is beneficial but not essential.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
