Location: Addlestone, Surrey
Salary: £34 000 - £50 470 per annum
Start Date: 6th January 2025
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Academics have built outstanding relationships across Surrey and we are recruiting an English Teacher for a Permanent or Contract to join a Secondary School in January 2025. This would suit a well-experienced or ECT Teacher.
Your role as an English teacher's role will involve teaching the language while fostering critical thinking and creativity. You will guide students in analysing text, forming opinions, and expressing ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing. By introducing diverse literature, you will promote cultural awareness and empathy, while also preparing students for exams and further education.

Must Have
* Experience working as an English teacher in the UK
* Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
* Enhanced DBS
