We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join our dynamic team in Woking. This role involves teaching Key Stage 3 (KS3) students and requires a passion for science and education. The position is available from 17th March until the end of the school year, with the flexibility to work full-time or part-time, but a minimum commitment of 3 days per week is required.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative science lessons that meet the curriculum standards.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student curiosity and enthusiasm for science.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic development.
  • Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the science curriculum and student learning experiences.
  • Utilise various teaching resources and technologies to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement.
  • Participate in school meetings and events, and contribute to the school community.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching science at KS3 level.
  • Strong understanding of the science curriculum and teaching methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Flexibility to work full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days per week).
  • Right to work in the UK.
