We’re looking for an experienced Technical Manager to join a renowned engineering firm at their site based in Macclesfield.

What’s on offer?
- £50,000 - £60,000 per year
- Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm (early finish on Fridays)
- 23 days holiday (plus bank holidays) – rising with service

What will you be doing as a Technical Manager?
- Leading a team to validate system, product, and material performance in line with customer and regulatory requirements
- Overseeing testing processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and continuous improvements
- Supporting the design, sales, and operations teams, contributing to new product development
- Managing employee performance and fostering a continuous improvement mindset within the team
- Representing the company in industry forums and regulatory groups
What do you need?
- Graduate qualified, with a background in engineering or a related field
- Strong project management skills and experience with testing techniques
- Previous experience in team leadership and people development
- Flexible, organised, and resilient, with a willingness to travel both in the UK and internationally
