We're currently on the lookout for a dedicated Document Controller to join our client's dynamic team, based in Glasgow. This role will involve trips to sites in Glasgow and Arbroath, so you'll need to be ready for a bit of travel!

As a Document Controller, you'll be essential to upcoming projects, ensuring all documentation is meticulously managed and up-to-date. Your organisational skills will shine through in this role!

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm (with a 1-hour lunch break)

Travel: Mileage included at 25p per mile

Document Control & CDE Management:

  • Manage and maintain project documentation within the CDE, ensuring all documents are correctly uploaded and accessible for the design team's review while adhering to established file naming conventions.
  • Ensure proper version control and distribution of documents, maintaining accurate records of revisions and approvals.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure compliance with document control procedures.
  • Monitor and track document submissions, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
  • Conduct regular audits with the Regional Document Controller and Digital Construction Team.

QA Inspection Support:

  • Assist in the collation and tracking of QA inspections, ensuring that all necessary records and reports are filed accurately.
  • Support site teams in the preparation and submission of QA documentation.
  • Ensure that QA records comply with project and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers and quality teams to address any documentation gaps or issues.

O&M Documentation Management:

  • Collect, review, and compile O&M manuals from subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure that O&M documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with client and regulatory requirements.
  • Work with handover teams and external O&M providers to ensure smooth delivery of O&M manuals to clients at project completion.
