Production Team Leader

Bluestones Supply Chainare currently looking for aProduction Team Leaderfor our vibrant, faced-paced leading Food Manufacturer client based inNorth Lanarkshire.

Salary: £28,100

Job Purpose:

This role will be working in a Chilled Food Manufacturing environment, therefore previous experience working within a similar environment will be preferred.

The Role:

You will be responsible for:

• Ensuring Production targets are achieved
• Departmental KPI's such as Quality/Food Safety, Health and Safety, Service level and Labour
• Leading your team through team briefings, on-line coaching and problem solving
• Identifying high performers and managing the performance of the team
• People management of your team including but not limited to Recruitment, Absence management, Disciplinary/ Grievance, Performance Reviews, Training and Development

Skills & Experience:

• An understanding of working in a food production environment
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally
• IT literate with a strong competency on Excel.
• Strong administration skills
