Bluestones Supply Chainare currently looking for aProduction Team Leaderfor our vibrant, faced-paced leading Food Manufacturer client based inNorth Lanarkshire. The perfect candidate will need an FLT licence or some experience.
Pay rate:
Days - £13.49
Nights - £14.55
Shift Pattern:
You will be working 7 over 14 days (2 days one week 5 days following week)
12 Hour shifts
Days and Nights available (7am - 7pm , 7pm - 7am)
Job Purpose:
This role will be working in a Food Manufacturing environment, therefore previous experience working within a similar environment will be preferred.
The Role:
You will be responsible for:
- Manage workload of the despatch team
- Liaise with the department managers to ensure tasks are covered with unloading and loading of equipment
- Check paperwork to ensure all loads are despatched accurately
- Ensuring Production targets are achieved
- Overseeing all line servicing staff members by planning who works where within each area.
- Identifying high performers and managing the performance of the team
- Any other duties reasonably requested by the Management Team
Skills & Experience:
There are no necessary qualification required for this role, however good English (written and verbal) is important.
- Previous warehouse and leadership experience is beneficial
- Forklift and PPT licences training will be provided as necessary
- Ability to lead a team
- Organised and responsible
- Fully committed and team player
- An understanding of working in a food production environment
