Paint Sprayer

£20 per hour

E-ppl are leading suppliers of Managed Services within the automotive industry. Working with the main OEMs within the UK and overseas. We are a specialist contractor who OEM's call on to support their vehicle projects. This can range from carefully planned and executed launch support projects through to very reactive quality campaigns. All our projects are fully managed offering a turn-key solution to our customers.

The main responsibilities for the successful candidates are:

Removes rust from metal, and grease and dirt from work surface.

Masks and protects parts that are not to be painted or coated.

Fills cavities and dents with putty to attain smooth surface.

Mixes paint according to specifications.

Selects and mixes coating liquid to produce desired colour.

Paints surface using your own sprayer or brush as appropriate.

Inspects painted units for quality of workmanship, noting any runs, fisheyes, sags and unpainted areas.

Provide Spray gun and use properly and safely and ensure tools remain in a proper state of repair.

Keeps work area clean.

Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including air fed mask, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer.

Complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials. Reports any deviations to management.

Paint Sprayer Requirements:

Minium 3 years experience as a Spray Painter in a professional workshop environment

Good attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.

The ability to work both as part of a team and on your own initiative.

You will be able to work both skilfully and safely and adhere to timelines/deadlines effectively.

The workload is liable to change minute to minute, so we need someone who is flexible, and able to work well under pressure.

A Practical trade test will be conducted to test proficiency and skill.

Benefits:

In return, the successful candidate will be rewarded with an hourly pay rate of £20 p/h

Rotating shifts Monday to Thursday 7.00am till 5pm you maybe required to work Fridays

Weekend overtime may be available

Ongoing contract paid limited company or via umbrella company - Outside of IR35
