The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of private client law and a proven track record of providing exceptional administrative and legal support.Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting solicitors with the preparation and drafting of legal documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
  • Managing and organizing client files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accurately maintained.
  • Liaising with clients, providing them with updates and addressing their inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Conducting legal research to support the team’s activities.
  • Assisting with the preparation of documents for court submissions.
  • Coordinating meetings and managing the team’s calendar.
  • Supporting the probate process, including the preparation of estate accounts and tax returns.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Legal Assistant within a Private Client Law department is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of private client matters, including wills, probate, and estate administration.
  • Proficiency in legal research and document management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal practice management software.
