Role Overview:
A prominent engineering company is seeking a skilled professional to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in New Product Introduction and Development, focusing on tooling design and manufacture.


Key Responsibilities:
  • New Product Introduction & Development: Collaborate with the Engineering team to facilitate the tooling design and manufacturing process.
  • Tool Usage: Demonstrate understanding and safe use of air tools and hand tools.
  • Machining Support: Provide support for production machining activities as needed.
  • Machine Setup: Set up machines with the required work holding and tooling according to established procedures.
  • Operational Efficiency: Execute operations efficiently as per job card or technical instructions to meet required output levels.


Person Specification:
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience in Automotive, Aerospace, or Defence sectors, with evidenced tool room experience.(4 years)
  • Team Player: Build and maintain good working relationships, always acting as a team player.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain high attention to detail and process adherence, applying a right-first-time mentality.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Reliability & Dedication: Demonstrate reliability and dedication in all aspects of the role.
  • Workload Management: Manage workload efficiently, prioritizing tasks where necessary.
  • Housekeeping: Be conscious of, and adhere to, housekeeping requirements.
  • Qualifications: NVQ in machining.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Software CNC programming.
