  • Manufacture of press tools, jigs, fixtures, and gauges to supplied drawings and/or technical instructions.
  • Set up and operate a range of machinery such as milling, turning, and grinding machines, to repair, create, and modify press tools, jigs, fixtures, and gauges
  • Liaise with the manufacturing engineers/NPDI/NPI team to ascertain what tools they need created, modified, or repaired
  • Understanding of and safe use of air tools and hand tools.
  • Support production machining activities when required.

  • Experience creating, repairing, or modifying press tooling for manufacturing purposes
  • Well-versed working within a high-precision industry, such as aerospace, automotive, nuclear, marine etc
