RG Consultancy are working with a fast growing property development company who are recruiting for a new Financial Controller at an exciting time for the business. You will work closely with and report back to the Financial Director.

Within this role you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting and oversee/management the finance team.

The Role

  • To oversee and lead a team of property accountants
  • Manage the finance team to ensure all service charge costs are accurate and coded correctly
  • Review the procurement strategy, supply chain and authorisation process
  • Review payment runs in preparation for submission
  • Budgets and forecasting, ensuring budgets are produced
  • Manage cash flow and treasury
  • Manage the monthly landlord statement production
  • Preparation of VAT returns

The Person

  • Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA
  • 5+ years' experience within a financial management role
  • Experience within construction or property sectors would be desirable
  • Experience within a leadership/people management role
  • Experience using QUBE would be an advantage
