In House Tax Accountant - £27,000 to £37,000 + Benefits – Alderley Edge

Our client is an exciting and growing business based in Alderley Edge and we have an unique opportunity for someone to learn all aspects of taxation under the mentorship of a talented and ambitious tax team.

The role will suit someone who has some experience of either corporation tax or VAT and would like to build on their knowledge to date and build a career in this specialist part of finance.

The Role :

  • Provide support across all taxes on both compliance and project work.
  • Prepare the initial draft of the monthly VAT returns.
  • Begin the preparation of corporate tax returns by inputting trial balances.
  • Dealing with HMRC.
  • Assist with CIS and NRL returns.
  • Help maintain robust tax records and processes.
  • Get involved in wider advisory projects.

The Person:

  • Ideally you will have practical working experience of VAT or corporate tax.
  • Be part / fully qualified ATT / CTA.
  • Proficient in MS Word/ Excel.
