RG Consultancy is seeking a Management Accountant for a fast-growing property business, offering a fixed-term contract for 3 months.
The role involves preparing monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and monitoring the company's financial performance.
The salary for this position ranges from £65,000 to £70,000, with 28 days of holiday pro rata and free onsite parking.
Candidates must be fully qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA accountants with relevant experience, particularly in property or construction sectors being advantageous.
Previous audit experience is preferred, while experience with service charge is beneficial but not essential.

RG Consultancy are working with a fast growing property business who are recruiting a Management Accountant to join their medium sized finance team. This is a fixed term contact to support developments within the department. You will work closely with and report to the Financial Director on a daily basis to support the department during a development process.

Salary circa £65,000 - £70,000
3-month fixed term contract
28 days holiday pro rata

The Role

Preparation of monthly management accounts
Accruals, prepayments, monthly journals

Maintenance of fixed asset register
Balance sheet reconciliations
Profit and loss
Monitoring the financial performance of the company
Implementing change and ongoing improvements for efficiency

Overseeing rent and service charge renting
Invoice preparation and processing for service charge invoices
Review calculated variances to identify any significant discrepancies
To support with year end and audit preparations

The Person

Must be a fully qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA accountant
Experience with service charge is an advantage but not essential
Similar experience working within the property or construction sector would be an advantage
Previous audit experience
