RG Consultancy are working with a fast growing property development company in Alderley Edge who are recruiting for a property accountant to join their growing team. This role is a new role to help support the finance department with service charge and ground rent management.

You will work along side another property accountant and report back to the financial director.

  • 5 hours a week, Monday to Friday

The Role

  • Produce Service Charge and ground rent invoices
  • Check payments and post to the relevant accounts on a weekly basis
  • Deal with an manage all correspondence on a daily basis, including payments, solicitor cheques and emails
  • Prepare Service Charge budgets and discuss with property managers
  • Reconcile Service Charges to allow auditors to check and produced reports
  • Liaise with solicitors when required
  • Answer any calls/queries replaced to invoices and statements

The Person

  • Experience within the property industry, property development or construction would be an advantage
  • Experience of service charges
  • Experienced within accounts payable or an accounts setting is essential
  • A profession accounting qualification AAT/ACA/ACCA/CIMA or studying would be an advantage
  • Experience using QUBE or COINS would be an advantage
  • Strong MS Excel skills
