Air Compressor Engineer

Salary: 45,000 inc Package

Week 1 Monday to Friday 07:45 to 16:30 (16:15 finish on Friday)
Week 2 Monday to Thursday 07:45 to 16:30. Enjoy every other Friday off work

We have an exciting role working for a leading facilities management company as anAir Compressor Engineerworking on aa UK government-owned facility contract that plays a central role in the development, maintenance, and stewardship of the United Kingdom's nuclear deterrent.

The business you will be working for are considered to be one of the biggest FM companies in the UK who also operate throughout the rest of Europe and into America. As a business they employ over 38,000 people across 180 locations. Initially started in 1994 they originally set up in the United States and have grown to become one of the most recognizable businesses in facilities management, construction, industrial and energy infrastructure across building services.

In this role you will join a group of engineers based out of 1 building looking after various pieces of on-site building equipment with a bias towards compressors.

Job requirements for an Air Compressor Engineer:

  • Undertake planned and reactive maintenance works & installations, from minor repairs and servicing to complete air system installation and commissioning.
  • Attend to breakdowns in line with client requirements when they occur, this may involve call-out.
  • To effectively diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on customer equipment, field and workshop based.
  • To carry out PDI and commissioning of new equipment.
  • To carry out install of new equipment and pipework.
