This Programme Manager role focuses on leading a high-priority Government Major Projects Portfolio (GMMP) programme. The programme involves a large-scale infrastructure project in a nuclear environment, including design, construction, and commissioning of complex facilities.
Top Essential Criteria:
- Strong knowledge across various industry sectors.
- Well-rounded experience, preferably across the entire project lifecycle, but open to those with expertise in the development or construction delivery phases.
- Strong background in managing change control processes and baseline management.
- Extensive stakeholder engagement at all levels, including working with executives and regulators.
- Ability to work under pressure in a highly regulated environment.
- Strong communicator with the ability to build relationships effectively.
Key Experience:
- A recognised formal Project Management qualification is required (e.g., PMP, Prince2).
- Experience in complex and regulated environments, particularly within infrastructure, nuclear, oil & gas, or process industries.
- Proven self-starter who thrives in high-pressure situations.
- Flexibility in background, but experience in large-scale infrastructure projects or similar complex projects is required.
