Synergy Personnel LTD are currently recruiting for 1聽x Quantity Surveyors for a project in Aldermaston,聽Berkshire.聽
To work as part of the project team responsible for the design and build of a state of the art engineering and聽work spaces. The project consists of 5 new build facilities featuring a truly breath-taking street environment which connects the new offices, learning spaces and science聽with the natural environment.
The specific role opportunity will centre around high value subcontract procurement and management in delivery. Working closely with our technical and operational team members to achieve the best co-ordinated outcome. Subcontracts will vary in scale from circa 拢2m to /拢20m and candidates should wish to work within a large, highly motivated team with long term prospects with a likely pipeline of work from the customer.聽.

Critically appraises, estimates and negotiates the above with 3rd parties Planning 路
Reviews complex contract programmes such as Time-Location, 路
Assists with the preparation of delay and disruption programmes Project Management 路 Monitors subcontract activities, measure and respond appropriately 路
Analyses the commercial progress and report to senior project staff 路
Manages commercial aspects with Customer and Stakeholders for their area of responsibility Procurement 路
Undertakes constructability analyses using construction programmes 路
Prepares procurement programme and helps develop the strategy Commercial Management 路
Analyses rates & prices, agreement of variations and or compensation events as required聽
Maintains own Personal Development Plan 路
Actively supports the development of others incl professional mentoring 路
Produces plans for team to achieve goals / aspirations 路
The following qualifications are essential: 路
BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or experience equivalent 路
Membership of RICS, ICES or CIOB (or working towards)

Salary will be between 拢60k to 拢65k聽depending on experience, plus Car Allowance/Company Car plus additional company benefits aswell there is alot to mention.聽
