We are excited to announce the opportunity for a Project Management Intern to join our Business Process and technology improvements team within our Insurance Claims Department at our contact center in Aldershot. 

Whether on a year-long placement or a summer internship, our students play an integral role in the success of Enterprise. For a university student, real world professional business experience can put you above the rest when you enter the job market.

It’s learning by doing, not by getting coffee or filing all day. Our university interns take on the same challenges on their internship as our first and second year full-time professionals. You’ll be part of a team-based environment where Enterprise employees are supportive and fun to work with.

This position will commence in summer 2025 and offers a varied role with exciting and unique learning and development opportunities. The ideal candidate will have strong organisation and communication skills, excellent time management and exceptional attention to detail.

Working within our insurance claims department of over 300 people, the successful candidates will be responsible for overseeing and organising corporate events, facilitating meetings and assisting with the implementation of new projects. 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Providing exceptional service to all employees
  • Facilitating meetings and taking detailed notes
  • Negotiating with external vendors and suppliers
  • Researching, planning and organising of employee events including our annual awards ball
  • Fostering and maintaining a positive and fun work environment
  • Overseeing the accurate and timely completion of workloads
  • Assisting with the implementing of new processes and software for the wider team
  • Gaining exposure to our wider departments and supporting them where needed

This role may involve a small amount of business travel within the UK

Qualifications

Attributes needed for this role will be:

  • Strong organisation and communication skills with the ability to pay attention to detail
  • A demonstrated ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks & demands
  • Confident working independently 
  • Intermediate knowledge/proficiency of a variety of computer software applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Good interpersonal skills and an ability to build relationships including with senior management

The successful candidate will: 

  • We accept applications from all second year undergraduate university students, regardless of university attended and subjects being studied.
  • Be able to pass a security check including financial probity/basic criminality
  • Be based in Aldershot Hampshire for the 12month period. 
  • Students must be available to commence the placement during summer 2025 for 12 months
  • A full UK driving licence would be preferred but not essential. 

What you need to know:

  • Hours: 40 per week
  • Salary: £20,000 per annum
  • Duration: July 2025 for 12 months
