Overview
We are looking for a skilled CNC Miller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating 3/5 axis milling machines using Heidenhain controls.
Responsibilities
- Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models
- Programming CNC mills using Heidenhain controls
- Setting up and calibrating machine tools
- Operating CNC milling machines to produce parts within tight tolerances
- Inspecting finished products for quality and accuracy
- Troubleshooting machine and tooling issues
Qualifications
- Proven experience in programming, setting, and operating 3/5 axis milling machines with Heidenhain controls
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of machining principles and tooling technologies
Day-to-day
- Programming and setting up CNC mills for production runs
- Operating machines to produce precision parts
- Collaborating with engineering and quality teams to ensure product specifications are met
- Troubleshooting and resolving machine and tooling issues
Rate and Package
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
