This is a rare and exciting role, forming part of a new and dedicated 'multi skilled’ machining team. This team are to cover the operating of a range of machines including turning, milling, deburring, lapping, grinding and more! We only require those who have experience of one of these areas as training will be provided on all others. You will only be required to work 4 afternoon shifts Monday to Thursday, and be paid a good and competitive salary with the potential for more with overtime paid at x1.5 and progression within this growing company!

Some general responsibilities will include;

  • Operate a range of machines
  • Work via instructions and drawings
  • Working to tight tolerances
  • Meeting deadlines for batches produced
  • Communicate with other team members and work together as a team

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar industry/role, ideally in a machining environment
  • Experience is required; Grinding or gear cutting
  • Willing and happy to work a permanent afternoon shift Monday to Thursday
  • Be proactive and a great team player.
  • Be able to work effectively and efficiently to meet target deadline
