Boutique IFA - Offices close to Aldershot Surrey
With offices near Aldershot, my client is a boutique independent wealth planning firm that provides whole of market financial advice to high net worth individuals, accumulators, local families, and SME owners mostly in Surrey but also in other home counties. While some clients have less than £1 million to invest, the majority have more than that much. The company provides advise on retirement planning, investments, cash flow modelling, tax planning, pensions, and various esoteric plans including VCT and EIS schemes.
The firm considers itself to be extremely ethical and keen on lifestyle financial planning, and it places the highest priority on providing great client service and satisfaction. Their client retention percentage is exceptionally high, with some relationships spanning several decades. The Advisers are assisted by a highly skilled group of pooled Administrators and Paraplanners, and through continuous CPD and industry tests, they are motivated to advance and grow as professionals and people.
A Senior Paraplanner will soon have a brand-new position created by the Managing Director. As the Advisers' "go-to" person for all technical issues and report authoring, you will sporadically attend meetings with them. Rather than just creating Suitability Reports, you will be working on the more complex situations and actively contributing to the advise provided. You will also be collaborating with the MD to determine the best course of action for each individual case. A Level 4 qualified paraplanner who is pursuing or currently holds chartered status would be well suited for this post. For the proper applicant, this is a possibility if your long-term goal is to become an adviser.
Salary: Up to £55k basic salary
Full study support towards Chartered status
Attractive benefits package and holiday allowance
