Gemini Tec is a leading EMS company currently located in North Town Aldershot. Part of the TechPoint Group, we supply EMS and supply chain services to a wide range of leading technology companies across the UK and Europe. We operate from a modern, clean environment to support customers in the commercial, space, defence, transport, audio, motorsport, and instrumentation sector.

Role: Commercial Manager/Lead from the EMS/CEM Electronics sector.

As commercial manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all internal account management activities. Your focus is on building strong long-term partnerships with customers, together with leading and motivating the commercial team to deliver exceptional customer service at all stages of the sales process, from enquiry to delivery cycle. Process ownership of site-level customers and order book, including forecasting, SIOP, and customer order/contract placement.

Duties include:

  • Convey and enact the company strategy to drive customer revenue growth by identifying customer needs and pain points and providing tailored solutions that effectively meet their requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as production, engineering, and procurement, to design and present customised solutions that address each client's unique needs.
  • Ensure an appropriate approach to negotiating terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to ensure a mutually beneficial agreement, including SOW review and quotation/bid sign-off.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate delegated levels of authority within the commercial team for key aspects such as Pricing, Order Acceptance, Quotations.
  • Manage order intake and order renewals and ensure timely negotiations and execution. 
  • Supporting account managers and customers, resolving technical or commercial issues.
  • Review, enhance and develop front end process and procedures to optimise the customer experience.
  • Gather feedback from clients and relaying it to the relevant departments within the company to help in continuous improvement and innovation and meet company KPI’s
  • Ensure client satisfaction and loyalty by anticipating and addressing potential issues before they impact the client's experience.
  • Analyse sales data and trends to prepare accurate forecasts, reports, and account reviews to inform strategic decisions and resource allocation.
  • Identify and maximise cross-selling group opportunities by strategically identifying areas to enhance customer service.
  • Hosting and visiting strategic customers.

Skills Required:

Customer-centric and commercially astute.

Min 5 Years of sector experience in the EMS sector, with a proven background.

Excel experience.

Reporting and forecasting.

Concise communication skills.

ERP/MRP & SIOP (SAP and Salesforce would be beneficial)

Core Hours:

Mon-Thursday 8.30 - 5.00, Friday 8.30 - 4.00.

All positions are permanent and based on a 39-hour week.
