Role: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Aldershot

Rate of pay: 40,000pa

Platinum Recruitment support multiple Engineering companies in the Aldershot area, and we have an opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer (with electrical bias) to join an ever growing team.

Hours: 40 hours a week
7am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday & EARLY 12pm FINISH EVERY FRIDAY

What's involved?

Ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment
Fault finding any problems with machinery
React quickly to breakdowns
Listing any issues & required replacement parts
Provide mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests
Using Mechanical and electrical Knowledge, assist in the design and manufacture/fabrication of Jigs and fixtures to aid Production
Fabricate repair parts and date stamps by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.

Qualifications required?

City and Guilds 2330 - electrical installation.
NVQ Electrical Installation.
17th BS7671:2008
Experience with ProtoTRAK CNC mill controls or similar and GE Fanuc series Oi CNC Lathe controls or similar are essential
Knowledge of PLC programming.
