Role Overview:

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of machinery and equipment in a fast-paced FMCG environment. This is a day-based position, offering you a great work-life balance with a competitive salary of £45,000. You'll play a key role in ensuring production runs smoothly, minimizing downtime, and improving overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery and production equipment.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Carry out repairs and replacements to ensure minimal disruption to production.
  • Work with the team to improve machine performance and reliability.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Support with planned maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and address potential issues.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with PLCs and automated systems is desirable.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field (e.g., City & Guilds, HNC/HND, or equivalent).
