- Communicating with customers in person and via the phone
- Speaking with insurance companies
- Providing estimates for damage to customer vehicles, utilising the preferred companies listed on the computer system, and staying within the insurance guidelines
- Providing estimates both on and off site
- Conducting valuations for vehicles, relating to repair costs
- Ensuring the correct parts are ordered with the parts department
- Attaining correct repair methods
- Updating customers on the status of their repairs and updating online insurance systems
- Ensuring maximum customer care is provided throughout service
- Imaging vehicles throughout the stages
- Providing updates for insurance companies as required
- Creating job cards, ensuring the repair methods are attached
- Getting the required authority to conduct repairs
- Keeping the communication log on the management system up to date
- Must have experience within a similar role, ideally gained from within a busy accident repair centre
- ATA qualification or the NVQ Level 3
- Excellent communication skills and customer service
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of applicable systems such as Audatex/Audainvoice would be advantageous
- Full clean driving license
