Jackson Hogg is delighted to be partnered with a growing manufacturing business on the appointment of Buyer or Senior Buyer to join the busy purchasing function.

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the Buyer will be getting involved with company projects from high volume manfuacturing to complex NPI to small batch programmes. The Buyer will be working closely with a global portfolio of suppliers, sourcing components and materials, negotiating terms and pricing and operational purchasing tasks through MRP. The Buyer will also be communicating at all levels across across the business from technical discussions with the engineering team to commercial reporting to Management and Leadership teams.

The Ideal Candidate will demonstrate some (hopefully all!) of the following:

• Experience within a Buyer or Senior Buyer position, ideally within a high volume manufacturing or electronics environment
• Can-do and proactive attitude
• Working knowledge of MRP
• Ability to communicate effectively across functions and levels of seniority
