Pay Rate: 14.19 per hour | 37 hours per week
Schedule: Monday-Thursday 08:00-16:30 (30-min unpaid lunch) | Friday 08:00-13:00
Contract Duration: Until 31/03/2025 (with potential for extension based on performance and budget)

Your Role:
As a Front Desk Administrator, you will be the welcoming face of the medical practice, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Front Desk Management: Opening/closing the practice, managing reception areas, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Administrative Support: Handling patient records, clinic preparation, appointment scheduling, and data entry.
- Communication Hub: Facilitating communication between patients, clinical staff, and external healthcare agencies.
- Compliance & Security: Ensuring adherence to Health & Safety, Data Protection, and Ministry of Defence protocols.
- Team Collaboration: Supporting practice staff with administrative tasks and contributing to service improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain clean, organised reception and patient waiting areas.
- Prepare documentation for clinics, process patient records, and manage referrals.
- Handle enquiries, incoming calls, and assist visitors with professionalism.
- Manage repeat prescriptions and ensure clinical rooms are fully stocked.
- Use and supervise the Defence Medical Information Capability Program (DMICP) system after full training.
- Assist with invoicing, minute-taking for team meetings, and organising travel arrangements when required.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven administrative experience (healthcare or medical environments preferred).
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in IT systems (training provided for DMICP).
Requirements:
- Ability to pass a standard DBS check.
- A clear 3-year activity history for our checks.
