We assist all employers when they want to source public safety, housing and enterprise security skills and experience.We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Specialist Support Worker based in Aldershot.This is a 30 hrs per week role, working a shift pattern of:Early 0700 - 1500, Late 1400 - 2200. including some Weekends and Bank HolidaysWith a salary of £15.01/hr on a Temporary basisThe Specialist Support Worker is responsible for the delivery of individual, positive outcome focused support packages to the clients Supported and Sheltered Schemes.Ensuring that the support service promotes empowerment and independence.The role requires maintenance of a high level of specialised knowledge, acting as a centre of excellence in the specific field. Supporting colleagues to understand the latest developments, it is imperative to the role to work as part of a staff team that is committed to "best practice" in the social housing field, working with colleagues to ensure clients’ needs are supported to the highest, relevant standards and approaches.The ideal candidate would need to be ready for an immediate start???????Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored support to meet diverse client needs.
- Assist with housing-related issues, benefits, and tenancy management.
- Provide both crisis intervention and planned support.
- Develop individualized support packages and action plans.
- Promote education, training, and employment opportunities for clients.
- Facilitate access to external support services.
- Maintain accurate records, including support plans and assessments.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, safeguarding, and organizational policies.
- Uphold equality, diversity, and data protection standards.
- Participate in team meetings and supervisions.
- Share specialist knowledge (e.g., drugs and alcohol).
- Work on KPIs like reducing voids and arrears.
- Attend relevant training and stay updated on industry practices.
- Actively seek ways to improve service quality and outcomes.
