Qualified Maths Teacher - Aldershot

We are looking for an enthusiastic, Qualified Maths Teacher to join our passionate staff and help shape the academic future of our students.

As a Qualified Maths Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and accessible lessons that meet the needs of students with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities. You will work closely with the SEN team to develop personalized learning plans, ensuring each student has the opportunity to succeed in mathematics, regardless of their abilities.

Key Responsibilities- Qualified Maths Teacher- Aldershot:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons to small groups of students with special educational needs.
  • Adapt teaching methods to cater to the individual learning styles and needs of students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and reports.
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to continually improve teaching skills and SEN knowledge.

Key Requirements- Qualified Maths Teacher- Aldershot:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Maths or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching Maths to students with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Strong understanding of SEN, including autism, learning disabilities, and emotional challenges.
  • Ability to differentiate lessons and provide tailored support to meet individual student needs.
  • Experience with specific teaching strategies, such as TEACCH, Makaton, or other communication systems.
  • SENCO qualification or experience in a SEN leadership role.
