Group Supply Chain ManagerAldershot£ Dependant on Experience

Jackson Hogg is delighted to be exclusively partnered with Techpoint on the appointment of Group Supply Chain Manager during this very exciting time of growth.

Joining at an incredibly time of growth, the Group Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for leading and shaping the full Group Sourcing and Supply Chain strategy whilst also defining and delivering new internal procedures, policies and processes to increase efficiencies and drive best practice to ensure that business objectives and goals are achieved.

Responsibilties

  • Shaping procurement and sourcing strategies at a Group Level and delivering across Techpoint UK sites
  • Establishing an effective Inventory Management strategy and defining control KPIs
  • Analysing data and market trends in order to make informed and strategic business supply chain decisions at a Group level
  • Strategically source, select and negotiate with new suppliers and vendors as well as manage existing supplier portfolio
  • Contract negotiation and management
  • Develop inventory management strategy and implement stock control KPIs and measures
  • Effective use of internal systems and MRP whilst driving robust system and supply chain process improvements to increase efficiencies
  • Some Domestic and International Travel to Company sites and Supplier Visits
  • Design and develop Group ESG and Sustainable Sourcing initiatives

Key Skills and Experience

As Group Supply Chain Manager, the client is looking for:

  • Proven success within a Supply Chain and Procurement Leadership role
  • Expert knowledge of shaping and delivering global strategic sourcing strategies
  • Commercially astute with the ability to negotiate effectively with an eye to spot opportunities and competitive advantages in the market
  • Excellent communication skills with a passion collboration and building true partnerships internally and across a portfolio of global suppliers and service providers
  • A true advocate of driving best practice and change management
  • Experience working within an electronics or technical manufacturing environment is highly advantageous
  • An excellent Team Player with a proactive and positive 'can do' attiude and work ethic
